Surreal worlds and extreme perspectives. „I have a great passion for the tiny things,“ she says about herself. One example of this is her „MusikSport“ series. It shows miniature athletes performing superhuman sporting feats on larger-than-life musical instruments. In addition to the visual experience, the acoustic experience also plays an important role in the presentation of the photos. Each photo motif is linked to a specific piece of music from the history of music that thematizes the sport shown.
Fantastic colors, shapes and structures in the animal kingdom also fascinate the photo designer. „Even a 250-year-old dead beetle has magic. I want to make this visible and stimulate the viewer’s desire to discover it,“ says Jutta, explaining her motivation. In front of her macro lens, tiny insects are transformed into gigantic jewels. Corals become snow-covered fir treetops and vast canyons of organ pipes.
Artists and scientists are also among Jutta’s photo subjects. „An individual portrait can be an entire photo series or a single image. My aim is to bring out a person’s personality and what moves him or her,“ says the photo designer about her approach to her work.
